2 Different Stories, One Common Purpose

Success is the good fortune that comes from aspiration, desperation, perspiration and inspiration.

It is just about 10 days until Purpose embarks on a journey that personally, I would have thought will happen much later. Within this small span of time since Purpose launched, we are going to the global stage!

The Race Across America – one of the most respected and longest running endurance bike race in the world, begins in July 17, 2017. And together with Team Australia II, we go to the USA with the aim of making this year’s RAAM campaign a winning one.

The stories of how Purpose and Team Australia II came together however, could not be farther apart. In 2015, the then Team Australia had made a successful outing in RAAM, clinching a podium position coming third in the 4-man team category. Now two years on, they go to RAAM with the training, experience and confidence of doing better.

Purpose, on the contrary, is a young brand with big ambitions. Only around since 2016, Purpose create products around performance and comfort at the core. Big strides happen when big chances are taken, and it was this thinking that paved the way to Purpose entering into this endeavour.

Being in a global stage such as RAAM is no mean feat however we are confident that both Purpose and Team Australia II will be able to rise to this challenge. We have every aim to come back as winners.

To inaugurate this partnership, Purpose has released the Team Australia II Limited Edition rider and crew kits for sale. Do browse through them in our online store. At the same time, also browse our range of Purpose before-and-after race wear like jackets, hoodies, t-shirts and caps.

The team are all excited to wear and display them for all to see in June 17.

So in 10 days time, do follow Purpose and Team Australia II on Facebook and Instagram for daily updates. I do hope that by the end of it, the news will be a jubilant one! An announcement to the world of Purpose.

Update: You can track Purpose and Team Australia II’s progress in the race daily at the link below from June 17 onwards. Cheer us on.
